Our little T is not so much into fresh avocados but when made into an ice candy (Filipino version of ice pop), she is a junkie! So, avocados turned ice candy these are!
And yes, much more healthy than ice cream! Although she still loves chocolate ice cream and asks for a cone every other day! Lol.
Ingredients for this avocado ice candy that we made only include fresh avocado, condensed milk, and evaporated milk. If you prefer, you can also add sugar. I cater to my sweetness preference so I don’t need to add sugar. I blended it into a smoothie using my powerful and smart ninja blender and added more of the milk. It is the wrapping that takes a lot of time. But, when all is made and iced, all you get is avocado yumminess!
My daughter wants to be in the media team of our church! I know how thrilled she was when the chair of the media department asked her if she is interested to sign up as a volunteer but her age being 10 years old only stopped her. We learned they start recruiting for volunteers who are at least 13 years old. So, I told her she has to wait for three more years. I know she was a bit discouraged but but excitement overshadowed it. She looks forward to operating the MF mooger fooger ring modulator or the synthesizer in the media room. She has this young adult whom she really looks up to for being the “It” girl at their school and she will get to work with her when Triz starts with the media volunteer job. As much as she is so excited for it, I am too. I am sure she will enjoy it as a learner, but I had to remind her media is not her choice for college but any healthcare related course. Ha ha! I hope she listens. I know, I am such a stage mama!
