I am so missing this one. Or should I say craving for it?
It’s the most common dessert for Pinoys: Buko Salad. And it’s my family’s specialty, too! Whoever makes this among my siblings is always a hit! This one is my product, a fave handa on New Year’s eve of 2010 back home in CDO. Ahh… now I am even more missing everything that took place that time!
Sige, let’s drool together! 😛
Welcome to my Food blog which I call DAILY BREAD ON MY PLATTER and sorry if I can make you drool, hungry, and angry on this blog! LOL.
Once and for all, this is kind of a Food photography in the simplest sense because I shall not be posting any food recipes here simply because I am the the kind of cook who doesn’t follow a recipe at all. I may look at it but I always end up altering and voiding the ingredients and the steps to cater to my palate so if you desire to ask a recipe from me on any of my food photos, just try to convince me and maybe I can give in to your asking. LOL.
I hope you come and virtually dine in with me on this blog; although I shall not promise to satisfy your mouth fully but I promised that your eyes will be filled with the yummy goodies I will be posting in here!
As a Seventh-day Adventist, my diet consists of mostly fruits and vegetables. I am not a Vegetarian, although I wish I can become one but it’s still too difficult for now. As for the meat that I and my family feed our mouths, we follow what the Lord has instructed in the book of Leviticus Chapter 11 regarding the clean and unclean animals on the earth, in the water, in the sky, among the insects and the creeping things. It is not my desire to be offensive in any of what I have mentioned but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give me a shout out!
In my kitchen are typical Filipino dishes that I grew up eating and learned cooking as the years went by. Because we are foreigners in this land, foreign dishes are not that common in my kitchen. We do take out food orders though so you can expect a variety of yummy treats here as well!
Thanks for visiting me here and I hope and pray that we can dine together side by side in that longest table in the heavenly kingdom someday!
