Baking Pandesal Without Burning
For the countless times that I have been baking breads here at home, my main complaint is not how tiring it is to knead or how time-consuming it is to wait for the dough to rise. Not any other thing but having a burnt output! I was told by a friend to use a stoneware baking pan but I am not willing to pay for the stoneware baking pan’s price. Lol. I looked for other alternatives and the most recent baking session that I did kind of solved my problem: I used my newly-purchased silicone baking mat.
Like I said, it partly solved my problem. Just partly because I still wasn’t able to perfect it, temperature-wise. I should have lowered the baking temperature a little bit. Next time will be different. It will really be the perfect kind that I desire. Nevertheless, semi-burnt or not, my kind of pandesal is always a sold-out here in our
bakery, er, kitchen! 🙂
